Digital humanities is a rapidly developing interdisciplinary research field at the border of the humanities and information technology. It is concerned with creating and administrating humanities databases, presenting source references and research results, and conducting research. Various quantitative data analysis methods (statistical content analysis, network analysis, visualization, GIS analysis, etc.) are increasingly used in the field of the humanities, as well as the creation of applications for public use and crowdsourcing.
The aim of our society is to bring together experts from different fields and to collect and disseminate information valuable to developing digital humanities.
